Nicole A. Soma is an Associate Attorney at Siddiqui Law, APC. A skilled Litigator with a business economics, performing arts, and theater background, Ms. Soma brings rare insight, knowledge, and experience to her legal practice. Ms. Soma's team-oriented and collaborative nature yields a hands-on and detailed approach to each and every client she represents. Her atypical caseload entails a broad range of federal and state matters in the areas of business and commercial litigation, labor & employment, intellectual property, real estate law, toxic torts, civil rights/ constitutional law, personal injury, and entertainment & sports law.
Prior to joining Siddiqui Law, Ms. Soma worked as an Associate at a boutique entertainment law firm in Hollywood concentrating on entertainment litigation, intellectual property disputes, and appellate matters. In 2018, Ms. Soma's research and writing led to winning briefs in several real estate and right of publicity cases heard before the California Court of Appeals. Additionally, Ms. Soma handled a variety of entertainment litigation matters involving intellectual property theft, rights of publicity, and trade secret misappropriation.
Ms. Soma earned her law degree from Loyola Law School (Loyola Marymount University) Los Angeles in 2018, and received a LLS First Honors Award. During her time in law school, Ms. Soma was Founding Member of the Women in Entertainment Law Society, an active Member of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society, and served as an LLS Admissions Office Ambassador. She was also a LLS Research Assistant on a variety of entertainment related projects.
During her time at Loyola Law, Ms. Soma was also a Law Clerk Extern at a national law firm where she assisted with a highly-publicized dispute between a high school choir show and a notorious "licensing troll." She also gained extensive experience in business litigation, insurance bad-faith, personal injury, entertainment litigation and transactions.
Ms. Soma also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A). degree from California State University Long Beach (CSULB) with a major in Business Economics with double minors in History and Entrepreneurship, which she received in 2015. During her time at CSULB, she was active with the Delta Delta Delta sorority and was a member of the Economics Students Association and the CSULB Law Society.
A self-made success, Ms. Soma supported herself through college and law school by working at California Pizza Kitchen where she garnered entrepreneurial experience as a Community Brand Ambassador.
An Orange County native, Ms. Soma also graduated from the prestigious Orange County School of the Arts in 2011 where she was immersed in the institution's renowned music & theatre conservatory programs.
